The spatial weighted regression method is one of the best methods to achieve higher accuracy in analyzing space-affected relations. This article attempts to introduce a model of the results of Area of Supply and Demand and general park performance with a spatially weighted regression model for evaluating parks in Region 1 of Tehran. The density of parks and population density in Region 1 of Tehran with the help of some environmental variables-space such as the area of parks. To follow the theoretical framework, spatial distribution and urban green space efficiency indices were used. With their help, environmental-spatial variables have been extracted, and the required data have been collected through systematic scientific methods and turned into information in determining the relationship between the data. Based on the findings, it is expected that this indicator will help landscape planners to understand the supply and demand index of parks and their relationship with the general efficiency of parks. It can help planners reconsider their projects' policies, goals, and costs. The results show that the general performance development index of parks in the first Region of Tehran is not commensurate with their supply and demand. In some areas, parks with appropriate performance indexes have low demand. Predictions of this research show that parks with index (-0.5>StdError) value will need more demand in the future, and demand for parks with index (StdError>2.5) will decrease.

Space perception is the first step towards recognizing and communicating with the environment. Despite similar perception systems in human beings, the perception of surroundings is different from person to person. Therefore, different perceptions of similar objective spaces can result from several factors, and only one influential factor cannot determine the perceived subject. This study seeks to identify cognitive aspects of different areas of the elderly perception in architecture and determine the cognitive characteristics of independent elderly residents in Shahrak-e-Gharb of Tehran to obtain primary data and their perceptual, cognitive characteristics using cognitive maps. This is a theoretical-applied study with a qualitative-quantitative method. The library method was used for data collection, field observation to measure the status quo, and interview and cognitive maps technique to collect research data. The sample size of 38 persons was calculated using the Cochran formula. According to the findings, the average perceived cognitive paths of the men group were higher than that of women, and the average perceived cognitive places of the women group were higher than that of men. Aging and length of residence do not affect the number of perceived elements. As aging occurs, the number of perceived places decreases, and the number of perceived paths increases. Most recognized spaces in cognitive maps represent a place for people's memories. So, cognitive spaces should be improved before the cognitive abilities of the elderly decline.

Empirical studies in the field of the design process started in the 60s. Protocol analysis is among the empirical research methods that have been developed simultaneously with the growth of empirical studies. Concurrent with the use of protocol analysis for researching in the field of the design process, analysis methods have been presented by some researchers, which can be used with the protocol analysis method in order to analyze the structure of the design process. Among these analysis methods, problem behavior graph, decision tree, linkography, and extended linkography could be mentioned. The problem behavior graph is based on problem-solving theories. In the decision tree method, the extracted data from protocol analysis is used for the perception of decision-making processes. Linkography is another method for analyzing the structure of the design process. In this method, the design process of a designer is unfolding by drawing a graph, which is called linkograph. This paper considers making a study and comparison of these different analysis methods by the use of systematic review. By comparison of diverse analysis methods, two approaches could be recognized, formal and informal ones. In the formal approach, the design is mentioned as a logical research process of solving the design problem. The second approach is informal. In this one, the design process is mentioned as a reflective conversation with the situation. In this approach, which is based on Donald Schon’s theories, the design process is referred as an argumentative process.
